Terms & Conditions – Morgan County Chase The Sun Gravel Ride

By registering for and participating in this event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk
Cycling, especially on gravel roads, involves inherent risks including but not limited to falls, collisions, weather conditions, road hazards, and mechanical failures. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to ride at your own discretion and ability level.

2. Rider Responsibility
Participants are responsible for their own safety and equipment. Riders must ensure their bicycle is in good working condition and that they are physically capable of completing the ride. Helmets are strongly recommended (or required, if you prefer to make it mandatory).

3. Route Conditions
Routes may include gravel, dirt, pavement, uneven terrain, and open roads with vehicle traffic. Conditions may change due to weather or other factors. Riders must obey all traffic laws and yield appropriately.

4. Event Changes or Cancellation
The event organizers reserve the right to modify the route, schedule, or cancel the event due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. No guarantees are made regarding course conditions or support availability.

5. No Refund Policy
All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated. The event will take place rain or shine unless deemed unsafe by organizers.

6. Medical and Emergency Care
By participating, you consent to receive medical treatment in the event of injury, illness, or emergency. You are responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

7. Personal Conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward other riders, volunteers, and the community. Unsafe, reckless, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the event without refund.

8. Photography & Media Release
By participating, you grant permission for event organizers to use photos or videos taken during the event for promotional purposes without compensation.

9. Liability Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants agree to release and hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and partners from any liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the event.

10. Agreement
By registering for this event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
